Collaborative Meetings Driving Scientific Progress

IBRG holds two meetings per year. The Spring meeting is usually held online and the Autumn meeting is arranged and hosted by one of the member organisations of IBRG. The format of the meetings are as round-table discussions rather than a conference-style presentation format. Each of the working groups hosts a session under the coordination of the Chairperson and Technical Secretary of the group. Details of upcoming meetings are shown below. Both members and non-members are welcome.

IBRG Autumn Meeting 2026

The International Biodeterioration Research Group will gather this September at Manchester Metropolitan University for its Autumn in‑person meeting. This event brings together specialists, researchers, and industry partners for a focused series of technical discussions, collaborative planning sessions, and knowledge exchange.

 

 

 

The meeting offers a valuable opportunity for cross‑group dialogue, updates on ongoing research, and planning for future collaborative projects. It’s a chance to reconnect with colleagues, share insights, and advance the science of biodeterioration in a supportive and interdisciplinary environment.

 

 

Non-member fee: £360 per day or £900 for all 3 days

Member fee: £250 per day or £650 for all 3 days
